How can I not be so awkward when guys flirt with me?

When they do start to flirt or compliment me, I just usually smile, say thanks, and then have no idea what to say which makes things awkard 'cause I don't know how to follow things up. usually the convo just stops there, which makes both of us feel pretty stupid. what should i say when guys start to flirt with me and compliment me? also, there is this one guy who always compliments me and will just run up and hug me from behind, but he has a girlfriend...so what should i do there?How can I not be so awkward when guys flirt with me?

You're not alone. I think that when the conversation turns awkward, then you should ask 'what was that about?' or maybe you can just look at them as if they're crazy. :)
